Surface TypesAll our racing pedals are CNC machined from aircraft quality billet aluminum for the highest levels of grip. The top surfaces have sharp edges machined into them to keep your foot from sliding. The gas pedals are typically left a little smoother because you do want your foot to slide on the gas pedal.
You have your choice of 5 different finishes for your pedals: GRID, BLOCK, CLEATS, SATIN, and MACHINED. The GRID, BLOCK, and CLEATS styles are machined from thicker billet aluminum. This allows for more surface detail to be machined into the part, resulting in a more 3 dimensional looking pedal. The GRID style pedal has been replaced with the PYRAMID GRID, as shown below. Once installed, they look basically the same. However, the pointy tips of the PYRAMID style offer the highest grip of any pedal. They bite into your shoes and won't let go.
